Annual Presentation and Dinner

Congratulations to all JBCYC trophy winners. A fantastic night was had by all to celebrate the year at our Annual Presentation and Dinner night on 25 May.

Safety/Regulatory Information

Members are reminded that our club sails under the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) of World Sailing (and the associated Prescriptions of Australian Sailing) and the Australian Special Regulations for Racing Boats (also recommended for Cruising Boats). All yachts taking part in our events are required to meet Australian Sailing Category 7 Safety and Equipment requirements.

Members are also reminded of the current NSW RMS regulations concerning lifejackets and tenders under 3.0m in length:

* A sole person in a tender is to wear a lifejacket;

* Where there are 2 or more people in a tender they are not required to wear lifejackets, but sufficient lifejackets for all people in the tender must be carried in the tender.
