Anyone interested in a cheap boat, the details below might be worth reading.  I am told the asking price is now $5,000.
Boat is advertised on Boathub and the Brokers website but enquiries can go back directly to the owners.

Hi Charlie
The boat was originally listed for sale at the brokers recommended price of $20K. After a long period of being listed at this price I instructed the broker to reduce the price to $12K but he reduced it to $13K. There were three offers of $12K which I accepted but none of these sales proceeded. I was later advised by the broker that the boat needed slipping and antifouling before it could be sold. As I am here in Thailand this was impractical for me to do and I didn't want to go back to Aust just to do that particularly if there was no guarantee the boat would be sold. I haven't seen the boat for almost twelve months now and it probably looks very tired and neglected but basically I believe it just needs some tlc. By now there is probably some rainwater inside and I think the battery may be missing. but the boat has been used just a few times since I spent $11K on a new mast and rig.
I go back to Aust on 8th April, will be there for about one month and don't intend to be the owner by the time I return to Thailand. It is more important to me that the boat changes hands rather than what I get for it and if I can't sell it I have a family friend who would be more than happy if I gave it to him.. If you know of anyone who might be interested in this boat they can view it on the website of Batemans Bay Yacht Brokers or they can see it at the marina at Batemans Bay. The boat has had a very successful racing history and I think it would make a good entry level club racer.
