The Jervis Bay Cruising Yacht Club Inc. (JBCYC) was formed in 1970 by a small group of yacht owners and sailing stalwarts who were keen to add a racing component to their cruising of the magnificent Jervis Bay waters.

Since its formation the JBCYC has run an annual programme of Spring-Summer-Autumn mixed fleet races (to see the race calendar Click Here ) as well as the occasional Winter Frost Bite series and a small fleet cruising programme which includes an annual Jervis Bay to Ulladulla cruise in Easter.

The JBCYC also incorporates into its calendar a regular social component of post race gatherings & BBQs, occasional social outings & raftups and an annual Christmas Party & Presentation Evening.

The club is noted for its friendly, welcoming & informal style which complements the casual lifestyle of the Jervis Bay and South Coast area.

Race meetings are mostly on each second Sunday from September to June with race briefings occurring on the Sunday morning of the race at 9.30 am at the Callala Bay reserve. Races usually commence at 10.40 am.
